After discovering D R Horton's nationwide racketeering, including the corruption of yet another Nevada official, Patrick Missud sent a package of evidence to Nevada's Supreme Court.  That high court then sent notice to the state's top cop that they should investigate Missud.  The Nevada Attorney General's Criminal Division then told the Nevada State Bar to take action and investigate Missud.  The state bar then sent Phillip Pattee to accost Missud's attorney after a hearing to ensure that Missud would be unable to continue his case and expose the state of Nevada.  Following Missud's attorney's withdrawal (he was quite good and very honest) the court signed Donald Horton's Motion to "$eal" quietly in chambers.

The Corruption of Nevada's Commissioner for Mortgage Lending has resulted in Nevada's status as the foreclosure capitol of the world.

By June 27, 2006 it was determined that Nevada Deputy Commissioner Susan Eckhardt was the third corrupted commissioner in La$ Vega$.  She claimed not to have jurisdiction in regulating DHI Mortgage which she had already issued several licenses to.  Twenty six days after her ridiculous statement, Nevada was looking for her replacement:

Notice of Corruption to Nevada's Supreme Court

Following the withdrawal of Missud's local representation, Nevada's courts then made filing documents exceedingly difficult.  Missud e-filed but was denied until 10 days after a hearing for which the documents were required.  Missud sent confirmed mail pleadings which were opened and then refused by the court.  D R Horton included copies of Missud's pleadings within their own exhibits and even replied to them in writing.  The court however stated for the record that it had never seen them.
