D R Horton doesnt only get sued........a lot, but they sometimes abuse the courts for their own nefarious purposes to offend the Constitution.  In December 2008, the National Association of Home Builders sued HUD for of all things.... trying to protect American consumers.  D R Horton filed Exhibit G in the case and claimed under the penalty of perjury that it had "high customer satisfaction scores" when originating mortgages.  Well the truth is that it is next in line to get investigated by the FBI just like Beazer: http://www.bigbuilderonline.com/industry-news.asp?sectionID=363&articleID=1007725  In that case, HUD found 7700 records of fraud but then withdrew its efforts to protect the masses.  Just recently though, the new Consumer Protections Act was thankfully enacted.
