A variety of D R Horton's RICO is officially documented by the FTC

Federal Trade Commission Freedom of Information Act Request #2009-355 uncovered 205 pages of information regarding D R Horton's nationwide RICO.  44 consumers from 20 different states report about predatory lending and mortgage fraud.  Others allege that D R Horton skims funds from the HOA's that they control, are involved in fraudulent land deals and fraudulently apprasie property.  All of these are corroborated by news articles and nationwide investigations such as FBI's Rippon Landing investigation where D R Horton was fraudulently inflating appraisals when the market was tanking: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/12/17/AR2007121701993.html
